In 1970, Bruins great Bobby Orr scored the overtime game-winner against the St. Louis Blues to bring the Stanley Cup back home to Boston. The goal, which saw Orr trip over St. Louis goaltender Glenn Hall, resulted in one of the most iconic images not only in hockey, but in sports history.

Fast-forward 43 years, and the Bruins are back in the Stanley Cup Finals with a 2-1 series lead over the Chicago Blackhawks – the first time the two Original Six franchises have met each other on this grand stage. A new manufactured sensation, “Orring,” has popped up, in which the Orrer (Orree? Orr?) imitates Orr’s leap, parallel to the ground. Essentially, it’s planking, but not so 2011.
