Just what the doctor ordered on a Tuesday afternoon: incentive to stay at work and waste your time.

Ladies and gentlemen, in case you haven’t heard, you can play Pac-Man on Google Maps. So basically, you can play Pac-Man all over world.

For the purposes of this story, we chose to only play in the Boston area. Our neighborhoods of choice: Beacon Hill, Back Bay, South Boston, Davis Square (Somerville), and Central Square (Cambridge). Below, we’ve included screenshots of what Pac-Man in those neighborhoods looks like. If you want to experience the high-octane gameplay yourself, just visit Google Maps and type in an address or neighborhood; click on the Pac-Man icon in the bottom left and have at it. (Warning: some locations even Pac-Man can’t handle.)

Bonus Level: The North End

Google Maps Pac-Man hates navigating the narrow streets of Boston’s North End, too, apparently. Although, in fairness, Google Maps told us Pac-Man wasn’t available in the first South Boston location we tried. So if you’re feeling lucky, try giving the North End another chance.
