A dry mass of air is making moves in the Northeast, bringing with it sunny skies, dew points in the 50’s, comfortable temperatures, and overall good vibes. Football season really is the best, you guys.

Temperatures might climb into the 80’s by the middle of next week. Even if the the heat approaches casual sweat levels, looks like the summer is fading. So, for any of you planning last minute, zero-sleeve policy strictly enforced, bare feet required activities, you still have time.

Why is this news? Just look to the west.

There is a frost advisory for portions of western Massachusetts and throughout northern New England. Residents in those regions of the North could face temperatures in the upper 30’s for the first time this year, before summer even ends.

It doesn’t look like Boston will drop into the dreaded 40’s or 30’s this week. This could just be a smooth transition into the fall season.

Hyperbole, but something to keep in mind.
