The end of January we interviewed Wellesley-based mobile startup MobiFlex, detailing how the company was working to integrate with Google Docs. Today, MobiFlex let us know this integration is complete, and in fact has landed in the Google Apps Marketplace.

MobiFlex is the startup which has created a web-based mobile app builder. With a drag and drop interface, MobiFlex enables businesses to create inexpensive Android and iPhone apps without needing any developer or programming knowledge.

MobiFlex is the first mobile app creation product to be offered in the Google Apps Marketplace. The business apps offered here make it a place for enterprises to find quality apps that integrate with Google — from CRM solutions to project management solutions. The addition of MobiFlex to the Google Apps Marketplace means enterprises can use Google Docs to power data for the front end of their custom-built apps.

Typically, outsourcing development for creation of a mobile app can cost you anywhere from $10k-$50k. MobiFlex claims to make apps in 1/10th the time and price; however, it offers a monthly fee based on number of users whereby you’ll have to consider whether the service is right for your business or not. The app creation service is free for the first 14 days, and then you can publish your apps in the iTunes App Store or Android Market for a one-time $99 provisioning fee. Keeping it there and tweaking the app through MobiFlex will charge you a monthly fee that runs anywhere from $15 to $300.
