Did you have any idea it was possible to get fined for having a messy workplace? Me, neither. At least not until today, when I found out the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) slapped Rebecca Minkoff with a whopping $77,000 fine for just such an offense. OSHA told New York Magazine: The Cut that Minkoff’s space was ”overcrowded and congested with boxes, rolling racks, workstations, chairs, equipment, storage and other materials.” OSHA apparently acted after receiving complaints from (former?) employees.

To me, Minkoff’s space sounds like it could belong to any fashion company. Good thing OSHA has never been invited to a Rue La La Employee Sample Sale
