In my opinion, there’s no such thing as too many salad cafes in Boston. And our over-the-moon excitement for the recent Sweetgreen openings should be proof of that. But believe it or not – salad fans now have even more to look forward to. According to a release, the Philadelphia-based salad chain, Saladworks, will be opening another location in Boston this fall.

Eater Boston reports that there is already one Saladworks “outpost in the food court at the CambridgeSide Galleria.” And – thanks to a large expansion – there will now be another Boston Saladworks location added to the list.

A release tell us that the fast-casual restaurant, which has over 100 U.S. locations, is “on target to open nine new stores in the United States and at least five internationally.” In addition to Boston, the new U.S. locations will include Rochester, NY; Grand Rapids, MI; Franklin, TN; Virginia Beach, VA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Bowling Green, KY and Morgantown, WV.

Saladworks’ menu is described as “a fusion of fanatic’ly fresh and healthy items.” The chain offers customers 12 signature salads, soups, fresh wraps, hot panini sandwiches and Fusion sandwiches. Diners can choose from over 60 ingredients, and mix and match their dish options to create whatever salad and sandwich combination they want.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more about the future location of Saladworks in Boston.
