The 2014 Sales Acceleration Summit, hosted by InsideSales.com, is just around the corner! We’re very excited to network with peers and experts in the sales industry, welcome interested attendees to the InsightSquared virtual booth and, of course, check out all the tremendous sessions.

But just which of the 80+ sessions should you be attending? We’ve shared some of our thoughts on how you can get the most out of the event – now, we’re here to share some of the sessions that we absolutely can’t miss.

Of course, all the planned sessions feature great speakers and presenters, and will undoubtedly be chock-full of great nuggets of information. But for our money, these 12 below – helpfully organized into separate topic tracks by our hosts – are absolutely not to be missed.

(All times listed are in PDT)

Keynotes

  • Dan Elkington / Ken Krogue (CEO / President, InsideSales.com) Our hosts will open and close the summit (at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, respectively) by sharing their thoughts on what they hoped to achieve with the 2014 Sales Acceleration Summit. Attending the host keynotes will not only be an enlightening experience – it’s also the polite thing to do!

  • Kraig Kleeman (Author, Speaker, Global Strategist) – “Eradicating Global Sales Poverty: 7 Steps to Restoring Greatness – With one of the best session titles of the entire summit, Kraig will outline a 7-point plan for eliminating what he calls “sales poverty” and hit inside sales executives in the face with a fresh perspective on the sales industry. (1:15 pm)

  • Steve Young (Hall of Fame Quarterback) – Where else will you get a chance to hear the thoughts of a great NFL legend, other than on Sportscenter (where, incidentally, you can also see Steve Young)? We love a good sports/sales analogy, so we’re curious to see what Steve has to say. (11:45 am)

Inside Sales

  • Aaron Ross (Author of Predictable Revenue) – “The Predictable Revenue Guide to Tripling your Sales – The best sales processes are designed to generate predictable, scalable revenue. Having authored a book on this very subject, Aaron is probably something of an expert with some great ideas on how to bring this to your sales team. (10:00 am)

  • Steve Richard (Co-Founder, Vorsight) – “Handling Objections and Getting to Yes – Every sales rep – even the best ones – will face objections at some point. It’s what they do with these objections that will determine their success rate. Steve will share some of his secrets to skirting around these objections. (11:00 am)

Sales

  •   Zorian Rotenberg (VP of Sales & Marketing, InsightSquared) – “The Science of Sales – Call us biased, but we think that attendees will find this to be one of the most useful and valuable sessions at the summit. Zorian will share the secrets of data-driven and analytical sales management, including revealing some sales metrics that top sales leaders lean heavily on to grow revenue and increase rep performance. (11:00 am)

  •  Adam Honig (SVP, Cloud Sherpas) – “5 Keys to CRM Success” – Most sales organizations aren’t getting the most of out of their CRM system. Perhaps their reps aren’t entering in data correctly, or they aren’t taking advantage of the Salesforce AppExchange. Whatever it is, Adam will share his 5 keys to really achieving success with CRM usage at your organization. (12:45 pm)

Marketing

  • Mark Roberge (CRO, HubSpot) – We’re unabashedly big fans of Mark Roberge and his work, so it goes without saying that we would recommend his session. Mark will share some of his – and HubSpot’s – best practices on marketing strategies and tactics, as well as the keys to effective sales and marketing alignment. (9:30 am)

  • Mathew Sweezey, (Marketing Evangelist, Pardot) – “The Trick to Nurturing Sales Leads” – Lead nurturing is one of the most important marketing practices, especially among B2B sales organizations. Mathew will talk about how to nurture these leads through the entire sales cycle and sales process. (11:15 am)

Social

Sales Operations

  • Salesforce MVPs (Mike Gerholdt, Matt Bertuzzi, Becky Webster) – To pair with Adam Honig’s presentation on getting the most out of your CRM, don’t miss this session to learn exclusively how to work effectively within Salesforce.com. Salesforce MVPs are considered most valuable, for good reason – they know what they are talking about when it comes to Salesforce usage.

There you have it, the 12 sessions that we are most looking forward to attending at the 2014 Sales Acceleration Summit. Are there other sessions on the agenda you absolutely cannot miss? Share them in the comments section below!
