As Samsung’s European press conference approaches, it seems that with every day comes a new leak about the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The London event on June 20 may be the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date. We first reported about the GS4 Mini earlier this month, but since then multiple fan sites and leak blogs have obtained what they swear to be official specs of the popular Galaxy S4’s little brother. This time German site AllAboutSamsung got its hands on a GS4 Mini spec sheet and if true, the handset could be even better than the Galaxy S4.

Initial rumors suggested the GS4 Mini could sport a 4.3-inch display, be powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, operate on Android 4.2.2, and feature a 5 or 8mp camera. What we can assume now is that the GS4 Mini will pack plenty of power considering its puny size.

AllAboutSamsung’s latest leak lets on that the processor may actually be a 1.7GHz dual-core by either Exynos (developed by Samsung) or be of the Qualcomm Snapdragon series. Also expected is a more than capable 1.5GB of memory, an 8MP rear camera as well as a 2.1MP front camera, and a crystal clear 4.3-inch qHD 540 x 960 display. As previously thought, all will operate on the Android 4.2.2 version of Jelly Bean.

Though Samsung has neither confirmed or denied the existence of a GS4 Mini, let alone the upcoming release of one, popular tech site TechCrunch alleges that on Sunday, the GS4 Mini appeared on Samsung’s app store as evidenced by this screenshot which, keep in mind, has been put through the Google Translate ringer.

To go along with this instantaneous though abrupt blunder by Samsung is the fact that the South Korean electronics conglomerate has scheduled its press event exactly 10 days after Apple is to host its WWDC in San Francisco. Apple events have been so popular that they’ve been known to crash website hosting live streams and live blogs of those events, so is it possible that Samsung will be trying to ride Apple’s wave of  watchful media attention? Or could it be that Samsung is hoping to outdo its heated rival by the old ‘I’ll show you mine if you show me yours’ trick?

Stay tuned to BostInno for the latest on tech releases and leaked specs. But in the meantime, let’s hear from both the Samsung lovers and haters. What do you think of the fabled Galaxy S4 Mini? Would you switch over from the much-larger Gs4? Would you ditch your Apple, LG, HTC, or Nokia device for a Samsung? Or are you tossing your Samsung for one of the other manufacturers out there?
