Fact: You lose moisture through your lips ten times faster than anywhere else on your body. Top that off with dry winter weather, and you’re left with a serious case of chapped lips. Well, pout no more. With these DIY solutions, you’ll be puckering up in comfort all season long.

Exfoliate
Gently brush lips with a toothbrush, then mix a small solution of half honey and half olive oil. Pat the mixture on your lips, let it sit for a few minutes, and wash off with a damp towel. Voilŕ – chapped lips, be gone.

Soothe
This one is simple: wet a green tea bag with warm water and apply to lips for five minutes. The tannins in the green tea will help ease the harsh winter burn.

Enhance
Grab a few rose petals from your garden (or, if you’re like me and lack a green thumb, from the store). Wash the petals with water and soak in milk for a few hours. Mash them until they form a thick paste, then apply two to three times a day. Not only will this soothe lips, it’ll also bring out their natural pink color.
