Lupita Nyong’o. She’s the Oscar-nominated breakout star of the critically acclaimed movie 12 Years a Slave. But before the groundbreaking flick hit theaters, odds are you probably hadn’t heard of her. And now? All of America is tuning in to see what she’ll be wearing on the red carpet.
From her bright red Ralph Lauren caped confection at the Golden Globes to her bandeau Calvin Klein dress at the Critics’ Choice Awards, she’s topped just about every best-dressed list this awards season – not to mention been named one of Vogue’s top ten rising style stars. So while we don’t know what the Oscar envelope will hold come March, my money’s on Lupita winning best-dressed. Hands down.
