Calling all Italian food fans and shopaholics! There’s an event happening in Boston this weekend that you don’t want to miss. This Sunday, April 27 sixteen retail shops will join forces with North End restaurants for a special “Shop and Nibble” opportunity for Bostonians.

NorthEndWaterfront.com is reporting that the North End shops participating this weekend will include: A Matter of Face, Acquire, Bottles, Cocoanuts, Ensemble, Injeanius, LIT Boutique, Luigi and Lola, Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe, Officina 189, Savas Studios, Sedurre, Shake the Tree, Sol Optics, Twilight and The Wine Bottega.

Visitors can stroll at their own leisure through the various North End shops – and nibble on tasty bites as they browse the stores. The shops will include food and finger size appetizers from a variety of the neighborhood’s restaurants.

According to the NorthEndWaterfront.com, participating restaurants will include: Aria, Artu, Bacco, etc juicery, Going Bananas, Goody Glover’s, Lucca, Monica’s, North End Fish Market, Panza, Piccolo Nido, Pomodoro, Prezza, Vito’s Tavern, and Volle Nolle.

It should be a fun time – and a great excuse to explore the North End neighborhood. The North End Regional Review also reports that there will be restaurant menu cards as well as discount coupons available at the retail stores.

The Shop and Nibble event is meant to serve as an incentive for Bostonians to wander through the neighborhood, discover new restaurants and retail stores. The event will take place this Sunday from noon to 5p.m.
