Last February, Marc Jacobs created a pop-up shop, the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, which allowed visitors to pay for merchandise with a social currency of sorts: a tweet or Instagram post with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain. Well, the promotion was such a success (who wouldn’t want free swag?) that the label has decided to launch another Twitter-based giveaway.

This time around, however, the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop is moving from a brick-and-mortar store to a mobile-only platform. And they’re doing it with the help of Chitter – an app that allows users to unlock deals from nearby businesses by performing small social-based tasks, such as tweeting a bar selfie in exchange for a free drink. Marc Jacobs’s new campaign will work similarly. Participants will have to first download Chitter on their iPhone® or Android device, then open up the Marc Jacobs giveaway. From there, they’ll post a selfie to Twitter in order to win a free bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy. The catch? Only the most creative posts will win.
