Closing out Comic Con was the Sons of Anarchy panel where the cast discussed the upcoming season six of the popular biker gang series. Alongside creator Kurt Sutter were stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman, Maggie Siff, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Jr., Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, and Dayton Calliem, as well as director Paris Barclay. The big draw with the SOA panel was the new footage screened as well as plans announced for a new graphic novel.

The never-before-seen footage showed “that Jax (Hunnam) is still doing plenty of contemplative writing. Also, that both Clay (Perlman) and Tara (Siff) are wearing orange prison jumpsuits. And it looks like Chibs (Flanagan) will be Jax’s new VP. The footage looks great, promising plenty of drama and violence to come this season,” accoring to the Hollywood Reporter.

When prompted about his plans for closing out the biker drama after this season, Sutter mentioned, “I think we’ve really created these characters and narratives that have been very organic to this world and I feel like we’re running towards the finish.”

But when asked in the manner in which the show would wrap up, he said simply though cryptically “Big pool of blood.”

The panel at Comic Con must have been a bittersweet one for the cast and crew as season five proved to be the show’s highest rated season to date and the impending series finale will be here before we all know it.
