With another year of the annual Consumer Electrics Show (CES) arriving imminently in Las Vegas, it’s important to try and narrow down the list of companies and booths that you might want to see. After all, the overall list of everyone who will be at CES is staggeringly long. With that in mind, for the sports and fitness-minded out there, here’s a quick list of the companies you will want to track (and who, incidentally, can help track you):

CloudTag: Promising a “hyper personalised” fitness monitor (in the form of a watch), CloudTag’s product enables heart rate monitoring as well as movement tracking.

DIGITSOLE: Placed in the sole of a shoe, the patented technology allows not only movement to be tracked, but also temperature control.

Greencomm: South Korean-based company is trying to provide its users with better fitness tracking wearables.

HEXO+: Drone company produces the “first autonomous drone” that enables the capturing of dynamic footage for extreme sports (as well as more regular ones too).

Kiwi Wearable Technologies: The “world’s smartest gesture recognition platform” can potentially help athletes in numerous ways (pitchers with their deliveries, for example).

ReGear Life Sciences: The company “manufactures deep heating solutions” to help users heal faster. This has obvious implications for athletes, particularly professional athletes who are perpetually looking for quicker methods for returning to the field.

TAO Wellness: Combined with a free app, TAO’s small exercise device allows for the office community to overcome the negative effects of too much sitting.

VERT: A wearable device that measures jumping stats for athletes, including how to train without incurring injury.
