Brockton’s list of sporting accomplishments just increased by one. Not only was the city home to undefeated Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World Rocky Marciano, it’s where Hakim Emmanuel bowled three consecutive perfect games.

It’s enough to make even Jeff Lebowski and his buddy Walter, both pictured above, proud.

According to CBS Boston, the Stoughton native and 38-year-old MBTA inspector was bowling in the Thursday Night Patriots league at Westgate Lanes when he knocked over every single pin every single time the ball left his hand, 36 straight times.

“I said wow, I got my first 300 game ever,” Emmanuel told CBS Boston of his first perfect game. Once the last pin hit the ground in the second game he thought “another 300, yay me.”

A perfect game is constituted by a score of 300 and, the Boston Globe reports, Emmanuel bowled an average of 216.

“It started to get real surreal and started to get very quiet,” Emmanuel told the Globe. “The second game was up and everyone was saying you’ve got an automatic six [hundred]. I said to myself, ‘I’ll block all that out keep doing what I’m doing, and let’s see what happens in the third game.’”
