It’s back, folks! This weekend, Jan. 24 through Jan. 25, multiple Boston-area restaurants will once again be participating in The Greater Boston Food Bank’s 33 annual Super Hunger Brunch to raise meal funds for the hungry. According to a release, nearly 20 restaurants plan to participate in the event this year.

If you’re interested in brunching for a good cause, here’s how it works: Customers can order off the special Super Hunger Brunch menu when dining at one of the participating restaurants this weekend. Prices are set at $25, $35 and $50 per person and for every dollar spent, three nutritious meals will be provided to someone in need.

Participating restaurants include: Burtons Grill of Burlington, Kirkland Tap & Trotter, Blue Ginger, Nix’s Ten Center, Precinct Kitchen + Bar, Grill 23 & Bar, 80 Thoreau, Craigie on Main, La Morra, Post 390 Restaurant, Rialto, Stella Restaurant, Dillon’s, Michael’s Harborside, The Fireplace, and Tosca.

Last year, over 1,800 people participated in Super Hunger Brunch, raising enough funds to provide 219,000 meals to men, women, children, families, college students, senior citizens and veterans in 190 cities and towns throughout eastern Massachusetts.
