Yes, it’s really that easy. Tickets are now on sale for Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation Boston, making it easier than ever to give back while also indulging in some delectable food. The event for foodies and philanthropists will be hosted by Jenny Johnson, producer and co-host of NESN’s “Dining Playbook.”

Some of Boston’s best chefs, restaurateurs and mixologists will come together on April 29 to help end childhood hunger. The tasting event will support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which helps connect millions of children with meals at school.

The event will last from 7 to 10:00 p.m., at Cruiseport Boston on April 29. Tickets are $95 for general admission and will allow guests to taste an assortment of fare and spirits.

According to a release, the event will feature some of Boston’s leading culinary tastemakers including chairs Jody Adams (Rialto and TRADE), Joanne Chang (Myers + Chang and Flour Bakery + Café), Gordon Hamersley (Hamersley’s Bistro), Andy Husbands (Tremont 647 and Sister Sorel) and Tony Maws (Craigie on Main and Kirkland Tap and Trotter).

Chef Joanne Chang explains in a release that “As chefs, we feed people for a living, but by supporting No Kid Hungry, we can help feed kids for life.” And one hundred percent of the ticket proceeds will go towards the cause – so there’s no excuse not to buy yours now.

For more information, check out the event’s website and let us know if you plan to “taste the nation” this month.
