If you’ve ever paid a visit to the Washington Square restaurant, The Abbey, then you know just how delicious those salted truffle fries can be – especially after Midnight. The popular restaurant made its mark in the Brookline neighborhood with their mouthwatering grub and now, they’re prepared to do it again.

The Abbey will open its second location today just outside Porter Square in Cambridge, according to a note on Twitter. The restaurant will be opening in the former Addis Red Sea space at 1755 Massachusetts Ave.

Eater Boston reported that we can:

“expect two floors, each with a bar, and each of those bars with 13 draft lines… There are also nearly 50 bottled beers, including a selection of local brews and some international options, some craftier than others. On the food side: short rib hash, bison bolognese, steak frites, and more.”

And that’s just the beginning. The Abbey in Brookline serves up a good number of small plates, appetizers, entrees and side dishes. From sauteed mussels and lamb lollipops to truffle fries and burgers, there’s something for everyone on the menu

According to The Abbey’s Facebook page, the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Check out The Abbey’s full menu, here and start booking those reservations ASAP.
