If you thought hockey-player style was limited to an impressive flow, take your eyes off those Thanksgiving-weekend games and point them in the direction of the Rangers’ goaltender, Henrik Lundgvist.

Now, tell me – what do you notice about him?

Answer: He probably knows how to pronounce “Hermčs.”

“[Lundgvist] doesn’t quite fit the popular notion of how a hockey player is supposed to comport himself,” Forbes comments. Sure, he’s won an Olympic gold medal and seven straight team MVP awards, but “King Henrik” (no, I did not make that up) also models for his own Crown Collection, a clothing line which supports the charitable Garden of Dreams Foundation.

“When you’re a hockey player, if you make any effort to dress nicely, you, um, stand out a bit,” he tells Forbes. Well, King Henrik, you’re standing out. And I’m certainly not complaining.
