Improv Asylum in the North End offers improv and sketch comedy shows during the week. Last year Improper Bostonian voted them the best Comedy spot in Boston, but you don’t need to necessarily hit up a live show to take in their genius. Improv Asylum has a killer YouTube presence. From spoofs on Tom Brady to Four Loko, these guys churn out high quality viral videos.

Upset that Boston didn’t get a lot of love at the Oscars on Sunday? Think again. From Improv Asylum: “There’s only one city with this much Oscar-worthy drama, and it ain’t New York.” Check out their spoof on some of our most beloved movies below:

The Departed. The Fighter. Gone Baby Gone. The Town. The Social Network. Improv Asylum presents: Boston’s ultimate story of crime, boxing, child-losing, bank robbing and equation solving.

  • “Over 300 bank robberies occur in Boston every year. 200 kids get stolen. 15 boxing matches are fixed. 150 complex physics equations are solved by the maintenance staff. And it’s all because of this man.”
