Step away from the tweezers. When it comes to this season’s eyebrows, bushier is better. Sure, big brows are nothing new – thanks to It girls like Cara Delevingne, they’ve been a major beauty trend this past year – but the F/W 2014 runways made it official. They are here to stay… for now, anyway. To get in on it, check out the tips below.

Prep Your Brows
Begin by setting the hairs in place by brushing your brows in an upward and outward motion with a spoolie, an eyebrow-shaping tool that looks like a mascara wand.

Fill Them In
Skip the powders and pencils and instead look to a product like “Gimme Brow” by Benefit, a brush-on fiber gel that instantly creates textured brows (beauty junkies everywhere can’t get enough of it). For a natural look, start at the inner edge of your brow and move outward.

Maintain, Maintain, Maintain
Sure, this new look is bold and thick, but it’s still well-groomed. Don’t be afraid to pluck stray hairs – just don’t go overboard. And to tame unruly brows, use a little gel to keep them in place.
