If you’re in denial that the holidays are approaching, everything that’s happening in Boston today should be able to change your mind. Not only are two of the city’s best ice skating rinks opening, but the Citi Wang Theater is hosting a free Winter Wonderland, and tonight, the Faneuil Hall tree will light up as part of the annual Blink! premiere.

First, if you have young ones in tow, you’ll definitely want to check out the Wang Theater’s Winter Wonderland. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, families will have the chance to take photos with the Globe Santa, watch a live performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, make arts and crafts, sample ice cream, and get discounts and giveaways for season tickets.

That’s not all: The New England Zoo and Legoland Discovery Center will be on site with activities, as well as an interactive reindeer exhibit. Not feeling the holiday spirit just yet? This event will change your mind. Plus, it’s free to attend.

And if you want to carry on the festivities, Faneuil Hall’s Blink! Spectacular kicks off at 2 p.m. with an appearance by Santa Clause, followed by live music performances up until 8 p.m., when the tree will be lit and the Blink! season will kick off, lighting up the trees in Faneuil Hall in time with the music of the Holiday Pops.
