Let’s face it, Boston, we don’t know where September went either. But with only two days left, we can wholeheartedly say we’re ready to finish up one month of events and move on to another. MassTLC Tech & Innovation Gubernatorial Forum — Featuring gubernatorial candidates Charlie Baker, Martha Coakley, Evan Faulchuk and Jeff McCormick. This event will allow these candidates to directly address questions from the public about their policies on the tech sector across the Commonwealth, whether they be on growth or the opportunity in today’s innovation economy. This event is a great chance for the public to hear more about the future of tech in Massachusetts.

Future of Research — A Boston-area postdoc-organized symposium on the “future of the scientific endeavor.” Representatives from eight area institutions, including Harvard Medical School, Brandeis, Boston University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Tufts and MIT, will host panel discussions on issues affecting the future of science. Following the symposium, a report will be published representing the majority opinion of participants. Register here.

Internet of Things Hackathon — For the first time in history, there will be a hackathon at the IoT convention. The goal? To create the greatest Internet of Things-related product in just 24 hours.
