This weekend, a crime occurred at one of Boston’s most well-known and historic establishments, The Red Hat. The Downtown Boston bar experienced a robbery that left the restaurant trashed and damaged (to say the least).

According to CBS Boston, the pair of thieves stole around $6000 worth of booze. On Saturday night (January 3), the perpetrators allegedly “locked themselves in the bathroom on the second floor and waited for the bar to close for the night,” reports the article. Then on Sunday morning (January 4), the thieves raided the bar, opening every single one of the bar taps and causing damage to floors, notes CBS Boston.

In addition to stealing booze, t-shirts and portraits, the criminals actually had the audacity to sit down and enjoy “a couple of cocktails for themselves,” Larissa Audette, assistant manager of The Red Hat, tells CBS Boston.

Fortunately, the crime was caught on camera and The Red Hat promptly posted the video footage to Facebook (below).

If you have any information on the perpetrators, report it to the Boston Police.
