One of Boston’s most popular upscale Mexican restaurants is opening a second location in the Boston area. According to a release, Temazcal Tequila Cantina will open their second location in Lynnfield’s trendy new MarketStreet Development.
The upscale Mexican restaurant currently has one location in Boston’s Seaport District, which opened in 2011 on the waterfront at Liberty Wharf. And the restaurant’s modern Mexican fare combined with an urban, contemporary atmosphere has proven popular with Boston diners.
The swanky new Temazcal Lynnfield location is decorated with Spanish imported furniture, a cozy fire pit, and a combination of wood, steel and wrought iron and brass materials – lending a romantic feel to the modern space.
The bar will offer an impressive “tequila library” with over 250 different varieties. Cocktail highlights include the En Fuego Margarita, the Mora Margaritas and a wide selection of Mexican-brewed beers.
The kitchen, helmed by Executive Chef Mynor Salguero, will offer a different menu from the Seaport location. The release notes that 50 percent of the new Temazcal Tequila Cantina menu will be notably different from the Seaport restaurant’s offerings. Some of the menu highlights include Swordfish Salguero and Asada Skirt Steak Tacos.
The new Temazcal Tequila Cantina opens this week at 500 Market Street in Lynnfield and, according to the release, will be open daily for lunch, dinner and cocktails.
