Treat Yo’ Self is an ongoing BostInno series that highlights a deal in the city where you can indulge without suffering financial ruin. Check back every week for a new way to pretend you’re rich – we’ll even provide the most appropriate scenario to accompany the bargains.

Who: If you work in the Back Bay area, grab your starving co-workers. They’ll be impressed (maybe?) with your knowledge of random food holidays and of course, this particular restaurant special.

What: In honor of National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day, Chef Michael Schlow is offering his own special homemade pastrami sandwich at Tico for a special price of $11.

When: Chef Schlow’s pastrami sandwich special is served today, January 14.

Where: Tico is located 222 Berkeley Street in Back Bay.

Why: Because in case you didn’t know, Chef Michael Schlow happens to be a native New Yorker who makes a mean pastrami sandwich.

How: We recommend taking the MBTA Green Line to either Copley Station or Arlington Station. The restaurant is located a short walk away.
