Clutches, heels – sure, we love them. But for some of fall’s best accessories, look no further than your fingertips. Here’s the buzz on who’s been sporting the trend and how to replicate it.

As Seen on Celebs
With everything from jewels to paintings of the Royal Family on her tips, pop star Katy Perry has definitely been a top supporter of this trend. She even rocked POTUS nails at an Obama campaign fundraiser last October. And when it comes to the red carpet, Zooey Deschanel deserves an A+ at E!’s mani cam. In the past, Deschanel has worn camera-reel nails and tuxedo nails to the Golden Globes.

Over-the-Top at Fashion Week
Outside the tents, people topped off their looks with wild tips (this year, street style is all the rage). But let’s not forget what’s on the catwalk. The Blonds had their models walk the Spring 2014 runway with 3-D spikes, plastic appliques, and glitter adorning their nails. Marchesa got in on the action this season, too, teaming up with Revlon to make nail decals that replicate favorite runway looks.

Get Your Own
Want to try the look at home? Most nail salons are willing to do nail art if you ask when booking your appointment. Or, do it yourself with some stickers from NCLA or Sally Hansen.
