There’s no shortage of Italian food to be found in the Hub. With Boston’s Little Italy neighborhood located in the North End, there’s plenty of pasta, caprese salads and red wine available right at our doorstep. But you’d be hard pressed to find a large Italian market and restaurant all in one place – until now.

Tuscan Kitchen and Tuscan Market, both part of Tuscan Brands, will open in Burlington, Mass. this summer. The new 14,000 square foot restaurant will deliver a “true Italian feel,” serving up everything from pastas to artisanal meats and cheeses.

Owner of Tuscan Brands, Joe Faro, opened the award-winning Tuscan Kitchen in Salem, NH and is now expanding his business to Massachusetts. The Tuscan Brands expansion will include two concepts: Tuscan Kitchen and Tuscan Market.

The Tuscan Kitchen will include hand-made pastas, freshly baked breads, and homemade gelato. The restaurant will seat 543 total, with 101 of those seats available outside.

The Tuscan Market will include homemade pizzas, paninis, Italian pastries, fresh mozzarella and more – all available for purchase. Guests can also experience the Tuscan Market Cafe, a 30 seat cafe area that provides coffee, espresso and light fare. According to a release, there will also be an “authentic homemade gelato machine imported from Italy, which features “24 different flavors of the creamiest gelato offered this side of Italy.”

Tuscan Brands will certainly bring an Italian experience to the nearby Burlington area. According to an official source, the restaurant is aiming to open the first week of September 2014. The new location will be at 24 New England Executive Park in Burlington.
