So you’re out chatting about the series premiere of Downton Abbey (that whole Matthew business had to be a sick joke, right?) when someone says those four words that immediately kill the mood: “I don’t watch TV.” It’s a sentence usually followed by “I’d rather read” or “I’m too busy.” Well, you know who can watch TV and read up on current affairs? The leader of the free world, that’s who.

That’s right, TV addicts. You have President Obama on your side. Whether he’s working his way through AMC’s Breaking Bad (which he’s way behind on) or partaking in a Homeland marathon, the POTUS still manages to fit in a few cable dramas here and there. Feeling better about your lengthy DVR list? Yeah, me too. Now if only I’d learned he also loves chocolate and red wine – then I’d really feel better. Well, sort of.
