With pumpkin season in full swing, it seems the entire country is eating pumpkin-flavored everything. From beer and lattes to whiskey and M&M’s, there’s no shortage of pumpkin spiced products to choose from. And here in New England, we’re no exception to the pumpkin-centric social media shares.

In fact, it looks like New Englanders are actually fueling the pumpkin craze, themselves. Don’t believe us? According to Thrillist, Twitter compiled quite a bit of pumpkin data over the last year in hopes of identifying which states talked the most about the beloved fall gourd.

The states that mentioned pumpkins the most via social media were none other than Vermont (#1), New Hampshire (#2), and Maine (#3). Massachusetts also ranked pretty highly on the pumpkin obsessed scale. And according to the interactive Twitter map, it seems the South is the least interested in pumpkins when it comes to tweeting their undying love for the fall flavor.
