Antonio Silva will get his shot at redemption after a yearlong wait. Tonight on pay-per-view, Silva will challenge UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez for his title at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The UFC 160 start time is 10pm and the fight card is stacked. Early preliminary events begin at 3:30pm ET and FX preliminaries begin at 5pm ET.

The last time these two fighters matched up was at UFC 146 last year when Velasquez, a two-time UFC champion, routed the 6-foot-4 263 pound Silva by TKO in the first round. Velasquez clocks in at 6-foot-1, 240 lbs though size obviously doesn’t matter as Velasquez is the reigning champ and he’ll look to capitalize on his speed and quickness to overcome Silva’s brute force.

The champ noted of his challenger in a press conference, “Bigfoot is dangerous. I’m not taking him lightly going into the fight, for sure. This right now means everything for me. Staying here. Staying in this position. Holding the belt. Keeping the belt here.”

Silva earned his rematch with Velasquez after completely overpowering Travis Browne and Alistair Overeem back in October and February, respectively. Supposedly, leading up to the fight Overeem was dismissive of Silva’s skills, claiming he was better than his opponent in every aspect of MMA. Good strategy, Overeem.

The fight card for tonight is as follows (not including preliminary events):

Lightweight– Donald Cerrone vs. K.J. Noons

Lightweight– Gray Maynard vs. TJ Grant

Light Heavyweight– Glover Teixeira vs. James Te Huna

Heavyweight– Junior Dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt

Heavyweight– Cain Velasquez (champ) vs. Antonio Silva

So what are all of you doing for UFC 160 tonight? Who do you think will win and who are you rooting for? Will Cain Velasquez be able to silence his challenger in the same way he did the last time the two matched up? Will Antonio Silva make history and upset the world champion?
