A woman fell on the tracks this morning at the Red Line Davis Square MBTA station just before 9:00 a.m.

The woman was walking towards the edge of the platform before eventually tumbling onto the nearest track.

A T official reports that the passenger was never in danger of being struck by a train because none were in the area at the time of the incident.

She was pulled from the tracks after bystanders noticed her.

She fell at the-10 second mark of the video. About 25 seconds in, a single onlooker notices her on the track, before appearing to alert people in the area.

At the one-minute mark, the first witness reappears, followed by a herd of anxious would-be T riders.

A bystander wearing a gray sweatshirt is the first to jump down to where the woman lay motionless. He is soon followed by a host of others who proceed to lift the woman back onto the platform.

The video was posted this morning by the MBTA.

This has become a pattern of sorts over the last month at MBTA stations.

In September, a person fell onto the tracks at North Station before onlookers helped the victim to safety.
