Rob Gronkowski; To words sure to incite interest of any New England Patriots fan and almost automatically put a smile on their face no matter the subject. The celebrated tight end made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss his team’s fourth Super Bowl victory (among other items) on Monday Night and this was no exception.

Gronk, who said he was running on just two hours of sleep, told Kimmel that because the Patriots victory parade in Boston was postponed until Wednesday he’d be up all night. How could he not, after a night of partying and dancing with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, teammates Chandler Jones and LeGarrette Blount, and rappers Flo Rida and Rick Ross?

“I’ve been working hard for seven months [and] got no game next week,” said Gronk. “I mean, don’t really got to prepare for anything.”

Kimmel, not one to shy away from potentially awkward moments for his guests (hilarious for us), brought up the subject of the A Gronking to Remember. You know, the first book in a series of erotica fan fiction centered around the Pats star.

“I’ve read a quote on media day from it,” said a jokingly naive Gronk. “The one quote I read on media day, she wanted me to spike a football between her butt cheeks.”

Of course, Kimmel had Gronk read a passage from the book which is instant Internet gold. “I’ll do it just for you,” he told Kimmel.

In between conversations about partying and erotica, Gronk did touch upon the Super Bowl a bit. Kimmel asked him about Malcolm Butler (whom Gronk says he burns in practice everyday) and the skirmish that ensued as the Patriots wound down the final minutes of the Super Bowl.

“We just went to take a knee and I swear, I just went in to block the guy… and protect Tom Brady,” added Gronk. “I dunno, he’s Tom Brady; I wasn’t trying to protect him. I mean, he’s our quarterback, no big deal.”

But given as how it was the last game of the year with victory in-hand, Gronk was like “screw it, I’m throwing some haymakers.”
