Boston Pride Week is in full swing, and per tradition, a slew of celebrities are sending short video messages to wish the city a happy Pride Week. This year so far, Florence Henderson (formerly Mrs. Carol Brady), Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees, Jenny McCarthy (future Mrs. Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Menounos have all chimed in to the conversation surrounding Pride Week in Boston.

Boston Pride Week kicked off last Friday, June 6, when the rainbow pride flag was raised in City Hall Plaza at noon. From there, a series of events followed over the weekend, and going through the rest of this week, we still have lots to look forward to. There’s a Pride Night at Fenway Park, a Pride Queeraoke sesh at Midway Cafe, and of course, the Boston Pride Parade and party on City Hall Plaza. Learn more about these events and see the rest of our Pride Week picks here.

While you get boned up on the Pride Week events happening from now until Sunday, June 15, here’s what some different high-profile personalities had to say to Boston. A few more videos are sure to roll out before Pride Week in Boston ends – in past years, the Kardashians, Kelly Rowland, Melissa Ethridge, Idina Menzel, Perez Hilton and many more celebrities sent quick video messages to the Boston community.

First, check out Jenny McCarthy, engaged to Donnie Wahlberg, question whether or not her forthcoming marriage makes her a Bostonian before blowing Boston a kiss:

And here’s Medford native Maria Menounos – who will also be hosting a free fitness class at Cambridgeside Galleria this Saturday in honor of her new diet and exercise book – wishing that everyone have a great time during Boston Pride.
