Earlier this morning, Daniel Arrigg Koh, chief of staff to Mayor Marty Walsh, tweeted out a link to a video, “25 Days on the 5th floor .”

Uploaded to Vimeo, Walsh’s cinematic debut is relatively brief, lasting just over five minutes. Earlier, Koh hinted that part of his role would be helping the Walsh Administration engage with the people of Boston, in new, innovative ways. This video, narrated by Kris Carter, of the mayor’s New Urban Mechanics office, could be a taste of what’s to come.

The first half of this film is a classic, man vs. nature drama; viewers are offed a behind the scenes glimpse of Walsh and his team as they prepare for a winter storm. He holds a press conference, closes down the City’s schools and delivers pizza to snow removal crews.

The second half gives a rundown of what Walsh has accomplished in his first 25 days of office, including his live Twitter chat and the unveiling of a reorganized cabinet.
