Last night marked the 30th Web Innovators Group meetup at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge. The event is organized quarterly by David Beisel of NextView Ventures, who selects a set of companies to demo their products to hundreds of people interested in getting to know Boston’s innovation community. Attendees have the opportunity to meet “side dishes” (companies that demo behind tables in a side room) and “main dishes” (three companies present on stage in a main room, with the audience voting on their favorite via text message). Last night, armed with our Flip Camera, we had the chance to catch up with almost all of the companies demoing before attendees filled the room. If you weren’t able to make the event, enjoy getting to know the companies in these short video interviews:

TourSphere

Apptegic

Goshido

Zaarly

Games for Language

Pintley

Happy Cloud

Lockify

Other companies demoing  at WebInno 30 that we didn’t have a chance to interview:

Clovr Media

Clovr is working to introduce couponless offer redemption. They link offers automatically to your payment card, which means the savings are redeemed automatically at checkout — without having to present any type of coupon/checkin/reward code/otherwise. You can learn more about them in this in depth profile with their founder and CEO.

Fantourage

Fantourage is connecting celebs and their biggest fans, letting you earn rewards — like free concert tickets — and recognition for posting content, participating in contests and interacting with other fans on their site. You can learn more about them in this in depth profile.

Smarterer

Smarterer, which launched in public beta yesterday and  just announced their final investor (Google Ventures), is working to reinvent the skills section of the resume. They have created a platform that tests and scores people on their digital, social and technical skills. You can learn more about them in this in depth profile with their founder and CEO.

Which of these companies are you most excited about watching grow around Boston? Let us know in the comments!
