As someone with a low tolerance for the tediousness of wearing high heels, it takes a lot to get me excited about fancy shoes. But as a never-missed-an-episode fan of Sex and the City and an unconditional admirer of Sarah Jessica Parker’s style, it happened today.

Sure, we all know that she’s teamed up with Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus to create her own line of shoes called SJP, but the actual designs have been a mystery. Until now, that is. The fashion fiends over at Lucky have given the world its first glimpse of a single SJP-designed pump. (While it’s not exactly a huge reveal, it sure feels like it to me.) What should come as no surprise? It’s classic. It’s sexy. And it’s timeless. While my toes ache at the thought of being crammed together in a pointed pump, to walk a mile in a pair of fabulous shoes ŕ la Carrie Bradshaw might just be worth it.
