The Academy Awards have some heavy hitters this year and the decisions will be difficult to say the least (I’m rooting for Grand Budapest but I’ll probably be wrong). While most people may want to enjoy the Oscars from the comfort of their own home, they should know that there are plenty of places in Boston to watch the awards show and eat some great food as well!

Kings Boston Oscar Pajama Party

50 Dalton Street, Back Bay

Kings is usually a fun place to relive your youth and enjoy an adult beverage at the same time.  So, on February 22, the bowling venue is hosting a pajama party for guests to relax and enjoy the Oscars. The party starts at 6 p.m. and will include cocktails, complimentary snacks and a prize to win a Netflix subscription for a year.

Trident Booksellers and Café Viewing Party

338 Newbury Street, Back Bay

The annual Oscars viewing party is happening again February 22 and will include, as always, trivia games, great company and a movie-themed menu (one can only imagine how they will incorporate Grand Budapest Hotel). The event is free and takes place from 7-11 p.m. Space is limited though, so Trident recommends coming early. A full invitation can be found here.

Canary Square Oscar Party 2015

435 S Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain

Canary Square will be hosting an Oscars Viewing party with a red carpet, champagne, paparazzi, and Canary’s specialty “Oscar” cocktail. The party begins at 7 p.m. and the Academy Awards viewing starts at 8 p.m. To add to the fun of the night, Canary will also have its own Oscar awards for best dressed and prizes for top scoring ballets. Brattle Theater Annual Oscar Party

40 Brattle Street, Harvard Square, Cambridge

An event for cinephiles, the Brattle Theater will be hosting both a Fundraiser Pre-Party and an Awards Ceremony Viewing Party. The minimum donation for the fundraiser is $50 and will support the Brattle Film Foundation. The Fundraiser runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony.

The Ellie Fund’s Red Carpet Gala

138 St. James Ave, Back Bay

The Ellie Fund will be celebrating the 19th installment of its fundraiser. The night begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online.
