Block parties are a classic neighborhood past time, but sometimes, they can be made even better when your favorite businesses get involved. Want to hang out with Wegmans, drybar, Equinox and more? Then head to Chestnut Hill Square’s Biggest Block Party tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.

The party brings together both the neighborhood and the Route 9 shopping center’s businesses for food, drinks and desserts, with music provided by DJ Kupah, courtesy of Equinox. The center gained some foot traffic earlier this year when Wegmans Chestnut Hill opened within it, as well as the brand new Equinox. In addition to those heavy hitters, you can find a SoulCycle, a Francesca’s boutique, a Sweetgreen (not to be confused with Sweet Cupcakes, also located in the plaza) and Anthropologie, among others.

During the block party, guests can expect to find fashion displays as well as other store promotions and deals, as well as enter a sweepstakes to win a shopping spree in the square, in addition to the free samples. It’s one way to get outside in the days leading up to Labor Day, and we’ll let you know of any other end-of-summer parties that pop up.
