When you get an after-hours craving, we’re guessing your go to move is the McDonald’s drive-thru, or maybe a late night call to Domino’s. But put the phone down – we have a good reason you should be trading in your cheesy breadsticks and McChicken Sandwiches for something a little more luxurious late at night.

Uni Sashimi Bar on Commonwealth Avenue is already known for its late night ramen, but today, they’re premiering a new menu to be served from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. that’s sure to turn some heads. While the classic ramen bowls, served on a first-come, first-serve basis, aren’t going anywhere, they’ve added some interesting dishes to their regularly changing menu.

They’ve added hardshell tacos made with flank steak, pork, veggies or baby octopus, plus salmon sashimi and donburi, as well as bites and snacks like shoshito peppers; pork belly steam buns; a hot dog made with nori, puffed rice and pickles; scallion pancakes,; . They’ve also got a lengthy beer list to go with their late night menu with New England locals like Somerville Brewing and Allagash making the cut.

Next time a late night craving rolls around, be a little bit more creative.
