Lemonade stands are usually reserved for little kids, who set up tables at the end of the driveway with a pitcher of lemonade. Their concoction is nothing to write home about (sorry, children of America), but this pop-up lemonade stand at The Blue Ox in Lynn, Mass. is a different story.

Available this weekend only, The Blue Ox is serving up four different kinds of fresh-strained lemonades, available either with or without alcohol. Whether you’re looking to make it a boozy afternoon or just want to sip the sweet summery drinks without the buzz, these sound all too delicious to pass up.

Created by The Blue Ox’s General Manager and Beverage Director Charlie Gaeta, all of the lemonades are made in-house with fresh squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup. The varieties include a watermelon lemonade, made with pulverized watermelon; cucumber and orange blossom with orange peel and cucumber water; cantaloupe, made with crushed and strained cantaloupe; and Pimm’s lemonade, infused with classic flavors usually found in a Pimm’s Cup, including mint, strawberry and local, house made rhubarb syrup. The virgin lemonades go for $4, but if you’d like to add rum, tequila or gin, that will up the price to $11.

So if you find yourself in Lynn this weekend, stop in at The Blue Ox for a fresh lemonade. While the stand will pop up again later this summer, it’s only around for now today and tomorrow. Happy weekend!
