Winter’s cold temps tend to mean a loosening of the belt and a few more fattening dishes than usual. It’s normal. And honestly, when it’s less than 20 degrees outside (and freezing), the last thing I’m worried about is an extra pound or two.

But one thing I am very worried about is finding the best comfort food in the city. The kind of food that warms you up from the inside out. And that tends to be (I’m not sorry to say) mac n’ cheese.

The gooey, cheesy noodles – usually accompanied with some sort of bread crumb/toppings combination – is my all-time favorite food. I’ve even been known to replace dessert with a lip-smackingly good mac n’ cheese (not sorry). In celebration of this delicious dish, we’ve rounded up 10 of the best spots in Boston to get your mac on.
