If it’s always been your dream to challenge New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski to a paint-off (or just to bask in his presence), then you’re in luck.

Paint Nite is celebrating its two-year anniversary with a painting competition this Sunday, March 30 at 4 p.m. at Ned Devine’s in Faneuil Hall. Competitors will have the chance to go up against Gronk in order to win a $500 cash prize.

Paint Nite is a Boston-based company that combines a night out at a bar with painting. Paint Niters are given step-by-step instructions by a local artists on how to paint a work of art while drinking some of their favorite cocktails at nearby venues. However, Sunday’s competition will be fully freestyle. The company was founded right here in the Hub and has since branched out to over 77 cities around the world, giving them a lot to celebrate.

All paintings, including Gronk’s, will be auctioned off later in the evening, with all of the proceeds from Gronk’s painting going to the National Brain Tumor Society. Half of the proceeds from the partipants’ paintings will go to the Society as well.

The event will also feature drinks, a photo booth, a raffle, music from DJ Iron Man Dave. Tickets will be $45 and include a drink and art supplies.

It’s pretty undeniable, however, that the biggest draw here will be watching an NFL player explore his artistic side for a good cause. You can purchase tickets and learn more about the event here.
