Raise your glass! Boston has once again gained national attention for its innovative bar and restaurant scene. Thrillist, a popular digital lifestyle magazine, rounded up the top 33 cocktail bars in the country and not surprisingly, one of our own made the coveted list.

Barbara Lynch’s Drink was named one of the 33 best cocktail bars in the U.S. – and rightly so. As they state on their website, the Fort Point bar has been “entirely dedicated to the craft of the cocktails” since its inception.

And the bar has continued to change the way Boston drinks, ever since. By innovating classic prohibition era libations and techniques, the Fort Point bar has become one of the most popular cocktail destinations not only in the Hub but also in the entire country.

Not to mention, they make ordering a drink as easy as 1, 2, 3. If you don’t already have a favorite cocktail in mind, the bartender will take your favorite ingredients and shake up something just for you. Did we mention, there are no official cocktail menus?

But don’t take it from us – Thrillist states that “Drink opened to much fanfare, lived up to the hype, and is now a destination bar, the anchor of a scene that has grown like a fitful teenager over the last six years.”

I’d say that’s about right.
