The tennis world was stunned during Wimbledon round 2 yesterday as the likes of perennial powers Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova were eliminated from the tournament. Round 2 continues today with no. 1 ranked Novak Djokovic hitting the grass courts at 12:30pm ET in the men’s singles, while no. 1 ranked Serena Williams will look to continue her reign of dominance at 8am ET. Check out our Wimbledon 2013 round 2 live stream below.

Thus far in the tournament, no. 5 ranked Rafael Nadal was ousted along with the defending champ Federer and Sharapova, as well as a number of players who withdrew on their own accord including Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka and Nadal’s vanquisher Steve Darcis. No. 2 ranked and Olympic gold medalist Andy Murray is still alive and vying for the Wimbledon title.

Djokovic takes on unranked American Bobby Reynolds this afternoon in what could prove to be another underdog victory. Reynolds hails from Cape Cod, MA–which all of us in the Hub and surrounding areas know could mean any number of towns–and his only Wimbledon appearance back in 2008 came to an end in the third round. Reynolds was a standout for the Vanderbilt Commodores in his collegiate days, and reached the third round of of the Australian Open in 2005 losing in similar Wimbledon fashion to Rafael Nadal.

Serena Williams will look to continue running rampant through the tournament, though with a bullseye on her back being the defending Wimbledon champ in the women’s singles event. She also took the Australian Open last year, a 2012 Olympic gold medal, and the French Open this year. She’ll take on 19-year old France-native Caroline Garcia, who is likely in for a rude awakening against the number 1 ranked women’s player in the world. This will be Garcia’s first Grand Slam that she’s legitimately qualified for, with her other four Grand Slam tournament appearances coming in the form of wild cards.
