Treat Yo’ Self is an ongoing BostInno series that highlights a deal in the city where you can indulge without suffering financial ruin. Check back every week for a new way to pretend you’re rich – we’ll even provide the most appropriate scenario to accompany the bargains.

Who: Your friend who’s currently in grad school and living off student loans. Trust me, they’re in desperate need of a fancy meal.

What: One of Central Square’s newest and most talked-about restaurants, Viale, is serving up a pasta special, twice weekly. According to BostonChefs.com, the restaurant will pair a half-portion of house-made pasta with a glass of wine for just $15.

When: Viale’s pasta wine special is offered Sunday and Monday nights.

Where: Viale is located 502 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge’s Central Square neighborhood.

Why: Because forking over $15 for top-notch pasta and wine sounds like a deal to me.

How: We recommend taking the MBTA Red Line to Central Square. From there, the restaurant is just a short walk away.
