UPDATE: Check out all the new features for iOS 7, release date, and specs here

After much hype and anticipation, Apple is finally set to kick off its annual WWDC today with its popular keynote session. What CEO Tim Cook decides to unveil at San Francisco’s Moscone Center is anyone’s best guess, though persistent rumors and speculations have pushed themselves to the forefront of the debate.

The big news has to do with iOS 7, Apple’s flagship mobile operating system. After the ouster of iOS Chief Scott Forstall late last year, VP of Industrial Design Jony Ive took the helm and is navigating Apple through uncharted territory. Rather than continue the tradition of glossy skeumorphic user interfaces across all platforms, Ive opted for a flatter design that he contents will bolster user-friendliness.

While iOS 7 might be snagging most of the headlines, be sure to check out our live blog below where we’ll be reporting on other anticipated announcements, like with OS X 10.9, the MacBook Air and possibly MacBook Pro series, the fabled music streaming service unofficially named iRadio and much, much more.
