Glassdoor has revealed their list of the most unusual job interview questions employers asked potential hires this past year. Questions ranged from inqueries about pizza consumption, to tennis ball texture, to potential employee’s belief in Big Foot. Here are a few of our favorites:

“If you were a pizza man how would you benefit from scissors?” asked notoriously tricky interviewers at Apple.

“If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why?” asked SinglePlatform, a local business listing platform.

“If you were 80 years old, what would you tell your children?” consulting behemoth McKinsey & Company asked interviewees’.

“How many squarefeet of pizza is eaten in the US each year” investment bank Goldman Sachs asked potential hires.

There is no definitive way to respond – these questions are designed to test your creativity and nerves more than anything else. The key is to act confident and walk interviewers through your thought process. So if you’re trying to calculate how much pizza is consumed in the US each year you could talk out loud and say “A full pizza is roughly 2 square feet, there are X amount of restaurants serving pizza in each city, with an estimated volume of X amount of pizzas per day”…ok you get the point. Your answer doesn’t matter, just make sure they understand how you got to that answer.
