Available Position: Marketing Intern
Hours: 10-20 per week

About Elysian Energy:
 
This position offers the opportunity to work with the area’s leader in residential energy efficiency in efforts to help homeowners reduce their environmental impact while saving on their energy bills. Interns working more than 15 hours per week will be able to gain field experience with energy auditors and green building certification professionals.

Responsibilities:
 – Provide logistical and administrative support for residential and commercial energy services in the Baltimore-DC corridor.
 – Assisting in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which could include articles, blog posts, presentations, white papers, and collateral
 – Prepare press releases, e-mail newsletters and event announcements
 – Perform research projects
 – Management of data entry processes

Qualifications:
 – High school diploma (some college preferred)
 – Strong written and verbal communication skills
 – Knowledge of building energy efficiency
 – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

 – The ideal candidate is energetic, personable and self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for contributing to the sustainability movement.
