As a part of the digital team, it would be your job to empower folks around the world to take on the same mission together. Are you up for the task?
We’re looking for a creative trailblazer to join us. If you have the wit and enthusiasm it takes to impact the world—apply right now. You should be a tech savvy individual with an enthusiasm for engaging the online world in social and digital media. This position requires strong communication skills, and keen intuition. We need someone who thinks outside the box and who possesses great patience for doing things well.
Among other things, the Digital Media Intern will:
- Communicate to our supporters through several channels, including Facebook, email, Twitter, and other emerging platforms;
- Keep a pulse on the daily interactions with supporters, and relay important data to the rest of the team;
- Maintain our daily posting schedule;
- Regularly coordinate with German and French social media managers
- Assist in research and development of digital content; and
- Assist the Digital Engagement Manager and Digital Media Coordinator as needed.
The Setup:
- Up to 20 or 40 hours a week with working schedule to be agreed upon
- Post will be filled on a rolling basis with preference to applications before December 15
- 6 month position
- DC office, managed by Digital Media Coordinator
- Paid position
